‘Alien: Covenant’: New Images from Ridley Scott’s Prometheus Sequel
Fox has unveiled three new images from Ridley Scott’s upcoming Prometheus sequel Alien: Covenant. The film “begins with the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. There, the crew discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
While the first trailer for the film is not attached to showings of Justin Kurzel’s Assassin’s Creed film, TrailerTrack is reporting that it could be released as early as this upcoming weekend. Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace (?), Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Jussie Smolett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Callie Hernandez and Billy Crudup star. The film hits theatres May 16, 2017.
