Two Minions Violently Hit A Man With Their Car In A New Clip From ‘Despicable Me 2’
Universal has released a new clip from Chris Meledandri’s Despicable Me 2 and it features two minions committing a violent hit and run with their car in an attempt to rescue Gru (Steve Carell) & Lucy (Kristen Wiig) from a knife-wielding fatty. What kind of message is this movie spreading to young children? This is the first time we’ve seen or heard from Wiig’s character Lucy Wilde (pretty sure…), a woman who recruits Gru to the Anti-Villain League, a society dedicated to fighting crime on a global scale known as the Anti-Villain League. I’m really looking forward to seeing this sequel since the first film made my black heart beat a few times.
In the sequel Gru (Steve Carrell) is no longer a villain, since saving his three adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes from Vector. But his calm and unexciting new life takes an unexpected turn when he is recruited by Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wiig) and Silas Ramsbottom (Steve Coogan) and is taken to the headquarters of the Anti-Villain League, a society dedicated to fighting crime on a global scale. Despicable Me 2 opens in 3D on July 3rd, 2013.
