Here’s the first unofficial image of Aaron Eckhart as “Adam Frankenstein” in Stuart Beattie’s I, FRANKENSTEIN. Based on the graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux (who also provides the screenplay), the film is a contemporary fantasy thriller in which the original monster of Victor Frankenstein stands between the human race and an uprising of supernatural creatures determined to overthrow the world. Yvonne Strahovski plays a scientist working to reanimate the dead and Miranda Otto plays the queen of the gargoyles. Filming is currently underway in Australia and hopefully we’ll get more set images soon. I, Frankenstein is expected to hit theaters February 22, 2013.
