[Update: images removed at the request of the studio] Here’s our first look at Matt Damon as the shadowy figure known as Management in Terry Gilliam’s upcoming sci-fi The Zero Theorem. The story centres on Qohen Leth (Christoph Waltz), a reclusive computer genius working on a formula to determine whether life holds meaning. I’m really looking forward to seeing some footage from this. Tilda Swinton, Ben Whishaw, David Thewlis, Melanie Thierry, Peter Stormare and Sanjeev Bhaskar also star. The film currently has no release date.
Qohen Leth is an eccentric and reclusive computer genius who lives in an Orwellian corporate world and suffers from existential angst. Under the instruction of a shadowy figure known only as “Management”, Qohen works to solve the “Zero Theorem” – a mathematical formula which will finally determine whether life has any meaning. Qohen’s work in the burnt-out chapel that serves as his home is interrupted by visits from Bainsley, a seductive woman, and Bob, the teenage son of Management
