New Trailer For ‘Jem and the Holograms’ Starring Aubrey Peeples & Juliette Lewis (With HD Screencaps)
Universal has released a new trailer for Jon M. Chu’s Jem and the Holograms. While fans of the original TV series reacted to the film’s first trailer the same way they would react to being told they had herpes, this new teaser seems to be slightly less offensive. I didn’t grow up with the animated show but I still relate profoundly to the film’s story — it’s about a small-town girl who catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar. I’m definitely interested in seeing the amount of vitriol spewed at this new trailer.
Here’s the rest of the synopsis: “four aspiring musicians will take the world by storm when they see that the key to creating your own destiny lies in finding your own voice.” I just got chills! Aubrey Peeples (Jem) Stefanie Scott (Kimber), Hayley Kiyoko (Aja) and Aurora Perrineau (Shana) Molly Ringwald, Ryan Guzman, and Juliette Lewis star. The film hits theaters October 23rd.
