Here are the first two vignettes for Rian Johnson’s (Brick, The Brother’s Bloom) upcoming sci-fi flick LOOPER starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels and Piper Perabo. The film is a time-travel action thriller that involves a killer (Gordon-Levitt) who works for the mob of the future. He, along with other so-called Loopers, dispose of people that are sent from the future. When he recognizes one victim as his future self (Willis), he hesitates, letting the man escape. Again, Looper is by far one of my most anticipated films of the year and I can’t wait to see the first trailer when Sony debuts it this Thursday. Sneak peeks courtesy of Apple Trailers

Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. Joe is getting rich and life is good. . . until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. the film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels.
