New Trailer for Ron Howard’s Formula 1 Drama ‘Rush’ Starring Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Brühl, & Olivia Wilde
A new trailer for Ron Howard’s racing drama Rush has been released. Set in the golden age of Formula 1 racing, Rush centers on the merciless 1970s rivalry between drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda. This trailer has it all: Chris Hemsworth’s luscious locks blowing in the wind, an ass shot, a shower shot, the cute mass-murderer from Inglourious Basterds, Olivia Wilde’s English accent, and cars! Vroom vroom. It looks like Howard and writer Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, The Queen) have brought another compelling story to the big screen and I’m definitely interested in seeing how it plays out. Rush opens September 20th.
Set against the sexy and glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing, RUSH portrays the exhilarating true story of two of the greatest rivals the world has ever witnessed—handsome English playboy James Hunt and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Niki Lauda. Taking us into their personal lives on and off the track, RUSH follows the two drivers as they push themselves to the breaking point of physical and psychological endurance, where there is no shortcut to victory and no margin for error.
