Wide Release of Kathryn Bigelow’s ZERO DARK THIRTY Pushed to January 11, 2013
Sony has decided to push back the wide release of Kathryn Bigelow’s Osama Bin Laden film ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ to January 11th of next year. The pic will still open in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on its originally scheduled release date of December 19 so it can be an awards qualifier for this calendar year.
So we’re only getting two Jessica Chastain movies this year? This is horseshit devastating. I need my JC fix (no, not you Jesus) but I’ll live. ‘The film avoids the very crowded last few weeks of December and will now only open opposite Gangster Squad and Haunted House.
Joel Edgerton,Edgar Ramirez, Kyle Chandler, Mark Strong, Chris Pratt, Jason Clarke, Harold Perrineau, Nash Edgerton, Jennifer Ehle and Fares Fares (not a typo) also star.
Watch this and weep:
For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty reunites the Oscar(R) winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.
