First Look at David Ayer’s ‘Fury’ Featuring Brad Pitt, Michael Pena, Logan Lerman, & Shia Labeouf
Here’s our first official look at Brad Pitt, Michael Pena, Logan Lerman, Shia Labeouf, & Jon Bernthal in writer/director David Ayer’s (End of Watch, Training Day) upcoming war film Fury. The film is set at the very end of World War II and centers on a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Pitt) who leads a five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. Ayer’s End of Watch was one of my favourite films of 2012 and I’m really looking forward to seeing some footage from this one. Fury is expected to hit theaters next November.
FURY is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Here are a couple of more shots of the tank:
