First Poster and New Promo Trailer for Park Chan-wook’s STOKER
A stunning new promo trailer for Park Chan-wook’s (Old Boy) upcoming thriller STOKER has been released and it’s quite possibly the coolest thing you’ll see all day. Set to Emily Wells’ “Becomes The Color,” the trailer incorporates the actual poster sketching process alongside footage from the film, creating an incredibly moody, highly-stylized clip that’s definitely worth watching. I have so much appreciation for the creativity showcased here. Check it out after the jump!
After India’s (Mia Wasikowska) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till, and Alden Ehrenreich co-star. Stoker opens on March 1st, 2013. Trailer courtesy of Empire.
