Joseph Kosinski in Talks to Direct ‘The Twilight Zone’ for Warner Bros.
Heat Vision is reporting that writer/director Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy, Oblivion) is in talks to direct The Twilight Zone movie for Warner Bros. Plot details are still under wraps, but the film was written by Jason Rothenberg (Body Politic) and Tony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes) and will be produced in part by Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Appian Way banner. Kosinki is still attached to direct TRON: Legacy’s sequel, TR3N, although there’s no word on when production will actually begin.
“Created by Rod Serling, The Twilight Zone began as a TV series that ran for five seasons on CBS from 1959-64. Subsequent TV series were revived in 1985 and 2002. The sci-fi classic, which revolves around paranormal and futuristic story lines, also spawned a 1983 film starring John Lithgow.”
