Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first behind-the-scenes look at Amber Heard as Mera in James Wan’s Aquaman. Here’s little background info about Mera: she’s the current Kween of Atlantis and wife of Aquaman (played by Jason Momoa), she possesses the ability of super strength, can live underwater and is able to form hard water objects. Check out the aesthetically pleasing photo below. The film centers on Aquaman (Jason Momoa), who finds himself caught between a surface world that ravages the sea and the underwater Atlanteans who are ready to revolt.

The film also stars Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna. Aquaman is currently set for a December 21, 2018 release.
