First Clip From ‘Carrie’ Starring Chloe Moretz & Julianne Moore
Sony has released the first clip from Kimberly Peirce’s upcoming Carrie remake and it features religious nutbag Margaret White (Julianne Moore) demonstrating her amazing parenting skills by violently forcing her daughter Carrie (Chloe Grace Moretz) into the closet with a mini-Jesus. Don’t worry Carrie, Hermione & Co. are on their way to whisk you off to Hogwarts! Based on Stephen King’s beloved novel of the same name, the film centers on a sheltered high school girl (Chloe Moretz) who unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers. Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde, and Ansel Elgort also star. Carrie hits theaters October 18th.
