The film centers on “Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), a Rebellion soldier and criminal, who is about to experience her biggest challenge yet when Mon Mothma sets her out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. In the clip Chazelle and composer Justin Hurwitz give us a better understanding of the inspiration behind the film’s gorgeous score and it’s definitely worth a watch. La La Land is one of my favourite films of the year (even though it sadly looks like I’m the only one in the world who feels that way) and I’m really looking forward to a second viewing. Read more →

Over twelve minutes of great behind-the-scenes footage from the making of Guillermo del Toro’s monsters vs. robots actioner Pacific Rim has been released. The film set in an alternate future where soldiers piloting giant robots battle against giant monsters who have mysteriously risen five miles beneath the ocean. Grown-Ups 2 is currently tracking better than this $150M + blockbuster but let’s hope positive word-of-mouth and solid reviews help bring the film the audience it deserves. Read more →
