New Trailer for HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET Starring Jennifer Lawrence
Relativity Media has released a second trailer for Mark Tonderai’s upcoming horror film HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET starring Jennifer Lawrence, Max Thieriot, and Elizabeth Shue. The film centers on a mother and daughter who move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. When the daughter befriends the surviving son, she learns the story is far from over. While Lawrence has the ability to elevate any material she’s given, I’m hoping this is more than just a run-of-the-mill horror flick with a twist you can smell coming from a mile away. Fortunately, I thought this trailer was far more effective and significantly creepier than the previously released teaser. Check it out below or watch it in glorious HD at Apple.
Seeking a fresh start, newly divorced Sarah (Oscar(R)-nominee Elisabeth Shue; Leaving Las Vegas, Piranha 3D) and her daughter Elissa (Oscar(R)-nominee Jennifer Lawrence; X-Men: First Class, Winter’s Bone) find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. Years earlier, in the house next door, a daughter killed her parents in their beds, and disappeared – leaving only a brother, Ryan (Max Thieriot, My Soul to Take), as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa begins a relationship with the reclusive Ryan – and the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.
