New Images from the set of Darren Aronofsky’s NOAH featuring Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, & Jennifer Connelly
Here’s Russell Crowe looking quite beefy (in the best way possible) on the New York set of Darren Aronofksy’s upcoming biblical epic NOAH. We also get a new look at Emma Watson & Jennifer Connolly, although they’re all covered up. Noah is a partial re-telling of the Bible story of Noah’s Ark and is based on a graphic novel created by Aronofsky, Ari Handel, and artist Niko Henrichon. Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, and Ray Winstone also star. Noah opens on March 28th, 2014.
NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).
