Theatrical Trailer for Joe Dante’s THE HOLE 3D
The theatrical trailer for Joe Dante’s (Gremlins, Small Soldiers) upcoming 3D thriller THE HOLE has been released. The film centers on two young brothers who discover a bottomless hole in the house they just moved into with their mother. The hole may just be a gateway to hell so naturally they take the locks off and are subsequently haunted by their darkest fears (teenage girls).
It would be great if the gateway to hell led them straight to Courtney Love’s house, but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t happen. The film was shot all the way back in 2008 and played at both TIFF and Cannes where it received mainly positive reviews. I’m glad The Hole finally has the chance to see the light of day (ha…ha) theatrically-speaking, but this trailer didn’t really do much for me.
Teri Polo, Bruce Dern, Chris Massoglia, Haley Bennett, and Nathan Gamble star. THE HOLE opens in theaters September 28th. Trailer courtesy of Yahoo.
