‘Community’ Season 4, Episode 8 Recap
Every recap I’ve written for this season, except for the premiere, has been about how “different” or “weird” or “almost good” each episode has been. I could point out how too obvious Abed’s storyline was last night – but then that would be my only complaint of the episode. Last night’s episode of Community was the first episode I’ve purely enjoyed this season. I have only one qualm and it’s not even worth acknowledging – that’s how much I enjoyed last night’s episode.
The episode made the show feel whole again. Almost everyone had something to do (save Troy, but he still has the best moments), Chang and Pierce kept their Chang-and-Pierce-isms to a minimum and I kind of really liked Britta/Britta’s storyline for the first time in forever (Gillian Jacobs deserves more credit than we give her, she nails Britta).
I’m keeping this short and sweet because why ruin a good thing?
